2016 was a memorable year for the Burlington Royals. While they ultimately fell short of winning and Appy League championship, it cannot be discounted how much fun they made coming to the ballpark over the summer. It was the best total attendance the ballpark had seen since 1993 and they became the second Royals affiliated team to make it to the final series. They won more games in the regular season than any previous Royals affiliated team as well.
