BIRMINGHAM, AL - The Birmingham Barons will host a seasonal part-time job fair at Regions Field Saturday, February 4th from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the Diamonds Direct Ballroom located on the second floor of the ballpark. Interested applicants are asked to enter Regions Field using the Fiat of Birmingham Parkside Entrance on 1st Avenue South across from Railroad Park. The Barons are looking to fill game-day staff for the 2017 Southern League season and invite hard working and motivated individuals to apply for the following positions:
Concessions Workers including Concession Stand Managers, Portable Food Cart Workers, Warehouse Runners, Event Set-Up, Game Day Party Attendants and Banquet Servers
Grill Cooks, Fry Cooks and Line Cooks
Barons Sports Depot Retail Associates
Ticket Takers and Sellers
Catering Event Staff including Bartenders, Waitresses and Suite Attendants
ID Verification Supervisors and Staff
Promotional Team and Mascots
Applicants are encouraged to bring a resume and references to the job fair. Regions Field is accessible off Interstate 65 and is located between 14th and 18th Street South. Birmingham opens the 2017 season on Thursday, April 6th on the road against the Jackson Generals, Double-A Affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks. The Barons open the home portion of their 2017 season at Regions Field on Wednesday, April 12 against the Montgomery Biscuits, Double-A Affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays, with first pitch set for 7:05pm.
