BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Birmingham Barons and WVTM-13 have announced that Thursday evening's game against the Chattanooga Lookouts will be broadcast on Me-TV locally.

First pitch on Thursday is set for 7:05 p.m. CT. WVTM-13 Sports Director Don Hawes will handle the play-by-play duties, while morning news anchor Eunice Elliott will provide color commentary.
"The Birmingham Barons are one of our community's great assets," WTVM-13 General Manager Hank Price said. "Broadcasting a live game will expose thousands of additional Alabamians to this premiere venue."
This is the second game that will be broadcast on television from Regions Field, the first of which occurred on August 7, 2014, which was broadcasted on CBS Sports Network.
"We are honored to partner with WVTM-13 in having our Barons game broadcasted on Me-TV this upcoming Thursday night," said Barons General Manager Jonathan Nelson. "This broadcast will not only provide a unique way of watching a Barons game but also provide a variety of interviews and background information on Regions Field that I'm confident folks will enjoy."
Throughout the game the broadcast will include special guests who will join the broadcast team of Hawes and Elliott to highlight Regions Field, the 2018 Southern League All-Star Game, the White Sox farm system and more.
