Bats to host Reds exhibition game in 2017

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The Louisville Bats and Cincinnati Reds will host an exhibition game at Louisville Slugger Field on Friday, March 31, 2017. First pitch is scheduled for 6:15 p.m. This will give fans the first opportunity to see the 2017 Cincinnati Reds against the Bats before Opening Day. The game will also feature an Adam Duvall bobblehead giveaway. Duvall, a Louisville native and former Butler High School and University of Louisville star, finished the 2016 season tied for 5th in the National League in home runs.

"We appreciate our long-standing affiliation with the Louisville Bats and are excited to play in front of our fans there before the 2017 regular season begins", said Reds General Manager Dick Williams. "The fans in Reds Country will get a chance to come to see some exciting young talent come to Louisville Slugger Field."

Bats Full Season and Mini-Plan ticket holders will have the first chance to purchase individual Reds Exhibition Game tickets. Beginning Thursday, October 6 at 10 a.m. a special 3-Game Big Red Pack will go on sale to the general public and starts at just $39. The 3-Game Big Red Pack includes priority seating for the Reds Exhibition Game as well as two other Bats bobblehead games on Friday, June 9 (Amir Garrett) and Saturday, July 22 (Buddy Bat). When purchasing the 3-Game Big Red Pack, fans are guaranteed the Duvall, Garrett and Buddy Bat bobbleheads.

Individual game tickets for the Reds Exhibition Game and the entire Bats 2017 schedule will go on sale to the general public on Tuesday, November 1 at 10 a.m. Club seat tickets for the Reds exhibition game begin at $29; reserved seats start at $17 and premium seats at $21.
