Laura Bell Bundy to perform at Louisville Slugger Field on Thunder Day

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Laura Bell Bundy will perform at Louisville Slugger Field on April 12 following the Louisville Bats game against the Columbus Clippers. The concert will take place on the playing field during the Thunder Over Louisville air show and will precede the famous Thunder fireworks show.

"There is truly no better feeling than coming back and performing in my Old Kentucky Home, especially at an event that I dreamt about as a child," Bundy said. "Bring your dancing shoes-we are going to have a blast!"

Bundy, 32, is a Big Machine recording artist and actress from Lexington. Her album Achin' and Shakin' peaked at #5 on the country music Billboard Chart in 2010. On the stage, she has played several Broadway roles such Elle Woods in Legally Blonde, Glinda in Wicked and Amber Von Tussle in Hairspray. She has also appeared on numerous television shows such as Guiding Light, Hart of Dixie, How I Met Your Mother and Anger Management.

"Kentucky Dirty," Bundy's latest single, references her Kentucky roots and is featured in The Sixth Man, a documentary about the UK's Big Blue Nation. Fans can learn more about Bundy and her work at her official website, www.laurabellbundy.com.
