BayBears announce regular-season schedule for 2018

MOBILE, Ala. (August 2, 2017) - The Mobile BayBears, the Double-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, are pleased to announce the schedule for the 2018 season. For the 22nd consecutive season, the BayBears will host 70 home games at Hank Aaron Stadium through Labor Day, September 4.

The Southern League season begins Thursday, April 5 with a five-game home series against a local rival, the Pensacola Blue Wahoos. Mobile and Pensacola will square off 24 times in the 2018 regular season, including another home series August 8-12. 2018 marks the first time the BayBears open a season at home since 2008.

The BayBears start the season playing 15 of the first 20 games at home in April. After 15 home games in May and 10 in June, Hank Aaron Stadium will host a game on July 4 for the sixth consecutive season, with the Biloxi Shuckers in town for Independence Day.
