BOWIE, Md.- The Bowie Baysox (60-56) rallied, but came up short in a 6-3 loss to the Harrisburg Senators (48-67) in the series finale on Thursday afternoon at Prince George's Stadium in Bowie.

Trailing 6-3, the Baysox brought the tying run to the plate with two outs in the eighth, but RHP Andrew Robinson fanned Anthony Santander to end the inning.
Robinson (1.1 IP, 2 K) got the final four outs to notch his seventh save of the year for the Senators.
Yadiel Hernandez's three-run shot in the second off of Baysox starter Jesus Liranzo gave Harrisburg an early 3-0 lead.
Liranzo (1-4) allowed the three runs on three hits while walking three and fanning two in three innings of work.
Audry Pérez's solo shot in the home half of the third put the Baysox on the board and cut the lead to 3-1. The home run was Perez's second of the season.
Back-to-back solo shots from Dan Gamache and Drew Ward in the top of the fourth stretched the Harrisburg lead to 5-1.
Hernandez led off the sixth with a single, advanced to second on a single and scored on Michael Taylor's RBI single to make it a 6-1 game. The run was charged to Baysox RHP Brandon Barker (2.0 + IP, 6 H, 3 R, 3 ER, 1 BB, 2 K).
Bowie cut the lead to 6-3 in the seventh via a pair of solo shots from Garabez Rosa and Ryan Mountcastle . The home runs were Rosa's 12th of the season and Mountcastle's first at the Double-A level.
Ross (3-2) allowed three runs on six hits to go along with two walks and a strikeout in 7.0 IP.
RHP Jason García (1.0 IP, H, BB, 2 K), LHP Paul Fry (1.0 IP, H, K), LHP Tim Berry (1.0 IP, 3 BB, 2 K) and RHP Scott McGough (1.0 IP, H) combined to fire four shutout innings in relief for manager Gary Kendall's squad.
Adrian Marin (2-4) had a multi-hit game for Bowie.
The Baysox open a three-game set with the Portland Sea Dogs on Friday night at Prince George's Stadium. First pitch is set for 7:05 p.m. with LHP John Means (8-7, 4.20) on the mound for Bowie against Portland LHP Trey Ball (5-9, 5.72).
