ERIE, Pa. - The Bowie Baysox (4-3) erased an early three-run deficit en route to an 8-6 victory over the Erie Seawolves (4-2) in the series finale on Wednesday afternoon at UPMC Park in Erie.

Bowie took control of the game with a five-run fourth inning in which the Seawolves committed four errors. Audry Perez reached on an error charged to Erie SS Argenis Diaz , advanced to second on a single and scored on an RBI single from Garabez Rosa who later scored on Erick Salcedo's RBI single. Salcedo and Adrian Marin would both score later in the frame on a Diaz error.

All five runs in the inning were unearned.

Erie starter Myles Jaye (0-1) gave up the five runs (none earned) on five hits to go along with three strikeouts in 3.2 IP.

RHP Ryan Meisinger (2-0) walked one and fanned four over 2.2 IP of scoreless relief to earn the win for the Baysox. RHP Jefri Hernandez (1.0 IP, H, R, ER, 2 K) tossed the ninth to notch his first save of the season.

Meisinger is now unscored upon in each of his first three outings to start the season.

The Baysox extended the lead to 8-3 courtesy of D.J. Stewart's three-run shot off of Jeff Ferrell in the top of the seventh. The home run was Stewart's second of the season.

Erie added single runs in each of the final three innings to account for the 8-6 final score, including a solo home run from Logan Watkins in the home half of the ninth. Christin Stewart and Jason Krizan also knocked in runs for the hosts.

A three-run second allowed the Seawolves to grab an early 3-0 advantage with Miguel Gonzalez's RBI single proving to be the big blow in the frame.

Bowie starter Brandon Barker (n/d) was tagged for the three runs on three hits while walking four and fanning four in four innings of work.

Rosa (2-4, RBI, 2 R) and 1B Aderlin Rodriguez (2-4, 2B, 2 R) registered multi-hit games for manager Gary Kendall's squad. OF Jay Gonzalez swiped a pair of bases for Bowie and became the first Baysox to steal multiple bases in a game since Julio Borbon notched three steals on August 13, 2016 at Richmond.

OF Cedric Mullins continued his torrid start to the season and extended his hitting streak to seven games with a double in the third.
