Bowie, Md. - The Bowie Baysox game against the New Britain Rock Cats Friday evening was postponed due to rain. The game will be made up Sunday, June 30 as part of a doubleheader beginning at 1:05 p.m. Stadium gates will open at 12:30 p.m. for the doubleheader Sunday. In accordance with Minor League Baseball rules, both games will be seven inning contests.
Fans with tickets to tonight's game may exchange them for one of equal value to any remaining 2013 regular season home game. Your dated ticket stub will serve as your raincheck. Please present your ticket stub at the Baysox Ticket Office on or before the game for which you would like to exchange it. Fans in catered level seating will receive best available seats in our Box Seat sections. The rainout policy does not apply to complimentary tickets.
Saturday's 6:35 contest is on as regularly scheduled. LHP Wei-Yin Chen will start for the Baysox on a Major League rehab assignment and will face Senators RHP Blake Treinen (6-6, 3.44). Washington Nationals outfielder Bryce Harper is expected to play in Bowie with the Senators on a Major League rehab assignment.
