Baysox Show Thanks with Fan Appreciation Weekend
The Bowie Baysox are excited to announce plans for Fan Appreciation Weekend at Prince George's Stadium! The weekend will consist of Kids Appreciation Night on Saturday, August 24 when the Baysox take on the New Britain Rock Cats at 6:35 p.m. Fan Appreciation Day will follow on Sunday, August 25 as the Baysox conclude their series against the Rock Cats at 2:05 p.m. Both events will include giveaways with fireworks on Saturday and a chance to Meet the Team before the game Sunday.
On Saturday night the first 500 children in attendance, ages 3-12, will receive a free Baysox Kids Rope Necklace. The festivities then continue on Sunday afternoon as the first 500 fans, ages 13 and older, will be given a Baysox Café Tumbler.
On Kids Appreciation Night, fans are encouraged to stick around for the final Fireworks Spectacular of the 2013 season! There will be lots of events for kids and great raffle prizes for kids to win including:

- Tickets to Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament at Arundel Mills

Baysox Marketing Director Brandan Kaiser looks forward to this weekend. "This weekend is a great way to show appreciation to our fans who have come out to support us during a long season," Kaiser said. "We have some great giveaways planned for both nights and we hope fans will keep attending games as the season winds down and the team makes a push for the Eastern League playoffs."
On Fan Appreciation Day, the stadium gates will open early at 12:30 p.m. Baysox players and coaches will then be available to sign autographs and pose for photos between 12:30 p.m. and 1:15 p.m. Also, fans are invited to bring their gloves to play catch on the field before the game. Baysox Pitching Coach Blaine Beatty and that day's starting pitcher and catcher are not available for autographs/photographs.
In addition to the fun pre-game activities, Baysox fans ages 13 & up will have the opportunity to win some great prizes throughout the game including:
