Baysox Welcome The Dudley Boyz to Bowie
BOWIE, Md. - The Bowie Baysox announce today Legends of Wrestling Night at Prince George's Stadium Friday, Aug. 21, as the team takes on the Altoona Curve at 7:05 p.m. The event features a special appearance by 23-time World Tag Team Champions The Dudley Boyz. Both Bubba Ray and D-Von will throw out a ceremonial first pitch before the game and sign autographs and pose for photos with fans during the game.
Baysox Assistant General Manager Phil Wrye looks forward to the event. "Over the past few seasons, our Legends of Wrestling event has enabled fans to meet legends of the squared circle like Kurt Angle, Kevin Nash and Bret 'The Hitman' Hart," Wrye said. "Fans will not want to miss both of The Dudley Boyz in action at Prince George's Stadium and who knows if we will get to hear 'D-Von, get the table!'"
Famous for using tables during their matches, Bubba Ray and D-Von Dudley form one of the most decorated tag teams in professional wrestling history. They are officially recognized by ECW as 23-time World Tag Team Champions while also spending time in the WWE, TNA and other wrestling circuits.
