Billings, MT—Neil Lang and CJ Gonzales combined to shut out the Voyagers in the final 4 2/3 innings on Sunday afternoon, en route to a 5-2 Mustangs victory.

All around, Billings was supplied with strong pitching starting with Cody Hacker. Hacker worked the first 4 1/3 innings and allowed just three hits and one earned run.

Great Falls jumped in front in the second with a Quintin Alexander infield single to score Michael Deeb who reached on an error.

In the bottom of the second, Billings erased the deficit with two runs on the Zane Zurbrugg sacrifice fly and Chris Eusay RBI single. Eusay has now registered an RBI in four straight games.

The scoreline would stay the same until the top of the fifth inning when Great Falls tied the game at two. Hacker ran into a bit of trouble and Neil Lang entered the game with just one out and the bases loaded. He induced back-to-back fly balls to center and allowed just one run.

The Mustangs offense awoke again in the sixth inning. Jalen Garcia reached via a walk to start the inning before three straight doubles by Anthony Amicangelo, Freddy Achecar, and Marcus Skundrich plated three runs. Mustangs led 5-2 after six and would hold onto the lead because of their bullpen.
