Media Regulations

CREDENTIAL REQUESTS: Season and single-game credentials must be requested through the Biloxi Shuckers media relations department at least 24 hours prior to the date your outlet is planning to attend. Only legitimate news-gathering outlets, at the discretion of the Biloxi Shuckers, will receive credentials. All credentials are non-transferable and should be visible at all times. Credentials will not be issued to anyone under 18 years of age. The Biloxi Shuckers reserve the right to revoke credentials at any time. Anyone seeking autographs, player memorabilia, personal photos, etc. will have their credentials revoked immediately.

ACCESS TO MGM PARK: Location of the media entrance to MGM Park will be on the north side of the stadium off of Howard Avenue. Media members must to have their credential in order to enter MGM Park. There is very limited parking available in the lot north of the stadium off of Howard Avenue. PREGAME CLUBHOUSE ACCESS: The MGM Park home clubhouse will be open 3 ½ hours before the scheduled game time (excluding start times before noon). The clubhouse is CLOSED when the team takes the field for batting practice. Following batting practice, the clubhouse will remain open until 1 hour before the scheduled game time. All media members are required to check in with a member of the Biloxi Shuckers media relations staff prior to entering the clubhouse. The training room, weight room and player lounge areas of the clubhouse are OFF LIMITS AT ALL TIMES. There is no video or still photography permitted in the home clubhouse unless authorized.

POSTGAME CLUBHOUSE ACCESS: Following a 10-minute "cool down" period, a member of the Biloxi Shuckers media relations staff will escort media members to the home clubhouse for a brief postgame interview session. Players and coaches will be obtained upon request. Media members are not to enter the home clubhouse without being accompanied by a member of the Biloxi Shuckers media relations staff. The same restricted areas of the clubhouse during pregame availability are also off limits after the game. REQUESTING INTERVIEWS: All requests for interviews with a Biloxi Shuckers player, coach or front office member should be booked through the media relations department. All requests are encouraged to be made 24 hours prior to the interview. No interviews are to be conducted while a game is in progress. No interviews may be conducted during a team workout, unless otherwise authorized. Interviews on gamedays are best conducted after the team takes batting practice. Video cameras are not permitted to be used inside the home clubhouse, nor any areas of the player parking or player entrance/loading dock area. Interviews may also be shot on the field or in the dugout if weather and player/coach availability permits. Starting pitchers will not be available for pregame interviews on days they are starting.

MILWAUKEE BREWERS REHAB ASSIGNMENTS: Players on minor league injury rehab assignments for the Milwaukee Brewers will be made available to the media when possible with their schedule. All interview requests with rehabbing players must be authorized by a member of the Biloxi Shuckers media relations staff. In accordance with Major League Clubhouse Policy, no starting pitchers will be made available for pregame interviews on days that they are starting. Starting pitchers on rehab assignments will be made available for interviews 20-30 minutes following the conclusion of their outing (subject to availability).

VISITORS CLUBHOUSE INTERVIEW REQUESTS: The Visiting Clubhouse is to be considered CLOSED at all times (prior to and after the game) unless a specific request has been authorized by a member of the Biloxi Shuckers media relations staff. No media members shall access the visiting clubhouse without permission from the Biloxi Shuckers media relations staff, who will work in conjunction with that team's media relations department to handle the request.

FIELD/DUGOUTS: Media members holding credentials that grant field access may be present in the foul territory/dugout areas up to 1 hour prior to the scheduled game. At no time are media members allowed to cross the foul lines into the field of play. Foul territory and dugout areas must be clear of ALL media exactly 1 hour prior to the start of the game unless a special request has been made to the Biloxi Shuckers Media Relations staff.

PHOTOGRAPHERS/VIDEOGRAPHERS: Photographers and videographers may utilize the on-field camera well next to the Dugout on the first base and third base side of MGM Park. Space is limited, and all photographers/videographers must accommodate the space needs of Biloxi Shuckers staff in this area. No photography is permitted on the field of play while the game is in progress. Special photo requests must be authorized by a member of the Biloxi Shuckers media relations staff.

PRESS BOX: Limited space in the MGM Park press box (3rd floor) is available for WORKING MEDIA ONLY. Photographers and videographers may utilize the second and third rows of press row for editing. Game information, rosters, lineups and complimentary wired or wireless internet connection will be provided to you. A light pre-game meal is also offered approximately 90 minutes prior to game time in the press box lounge. There will be no cheering or rooting for either team at any point during the game. Individuals who violate press box rules will be removed and credentials revoked upon the discretion of the Biloxi Shuckers media relations department.
