Harrisburg, PA - The Harrisburg Senators (37-22) with three home runs, including two from third basemen Adrian Sanchez, defeated the Binghamton Rumble Ponies 7-3 in the rubber game of the three-game set Thursday night at FNB Field.

The Ponies (31-23) got off to a fast start with back-to-back home runs in the first inning from Barrett Barnes and David Thompson off lefty Ben Braymer. The Senators for a second straight game immediately responded with back-to-back home runs from Sanchez and Austin Davidson in their half of the first.

The Senators then scored three in the bottom of the third to take a 5-2 lead and Sanchez hit his second homer of the game in the fourth off of Ponies starter Tommy Wilson. Sanchez finished 3-4, with three runs scored and two RBI. After Braymer came out with the bases loaded and one out in the fourth, the Senators bullpen shut down the Ponies the rest of the way.

Senators relievers allowed just two hits over four and two thirds innings. Harrisburg lefty Jordan Mills pitched two perfect frames, striking out five of the six he faced. RHP Brian Bonnell got the win (1-0) while Wilson took the loss (0-2).
