2020 Early Bird Schedule Released

The Birmingham Barons will welcome the Rocket City Trash  Pandas to Regions Field from April 9-13 as they open the 2020 Southern League season.

Rocket City, which is set to replace the Mobile BayBears at the conclusion of the 2019 campaign, will mark its entry into the Southern League with the five-game series at  Regions Field.  
It will represent Birmingham's first time since 2015 in which its home opener doubles as the season opener. The Barons own a 3-4 mark in all-time home openers at  Regions Field.  
Following their opening series against the Trash Pandas, the Barons will hit the road for a five-game set against the Jackson Generals from April 15-19.  
Birmingham will enjoy extended homestands of 10 games apiece between June 6-15  against Chattanooga and Montgomery and July 27 - Aug. 5 against Biloxi and Pensacola.  
The Barons will conclude the 2020 regular season with a short trip to Montgomery for a five-game series against the Biscuits between Sept. 3-7.  
The Ballpark at Jackson, home of the Generals, will play host to the 2020 Southern  League All-Star Game on Tuesday, June 23. The league's three-day All-Star break is scheduled for June 22-24, which immediately follows the conclusion of the first half of June 21. 
Specific game times are expected to be announced by member clubs in February  2020.
