To be or not to be (at Coca-Cola Field on Saturday June 8): that is the question. The Buffalo Bisons, and Hamlet, would say "to be."

For the 4th year in a row the Bisons are hosting "Bases Merlot-ed" Ballpark Wine Trail at Coca-Cola Field (4-8 pm), an event that directly benefits Buffalo's famous Shakespeare in Delaware Park. Tickets are only $30 and give you a chance to sample over 100 varieties of wine from over 20 different vineyards around the world. Included with your ticket is a collectible wine glass to take home.

Event proceeds go to Shakespeare in Delaware Park, a Buffalo favorite that dates back to 1976. Shakespeare in Delaware Park is one of the country's largest outdoor Shakespeare festivals, allowing attendees to relax and enjoy Shakespeare's stories in the park.

Not many areas of the ballpark are off-limits at the June 8th "Bases Merlot-ed" event. Feel free to have a glass of wine in the Bisons dugout or while standing on home-plate. Pettibones Grill and the Bully Hill Party Deck will be open as well if you'd like to take a break from your fun in the sun. This night will give you a chance to see Coca-Cola Field in a brand new light.

But, alas!, this night is not only about wine. There will be music, entertainment, local food, and a farmer's market to stroll through. The event will also include a silent auction and a 50/50 raffle, where proceeds again go directly towards Shakespeare in Delaware Park.
