The Buffalo Bisons today announced that Buffalo Bills head coach SEAN McDERMOTT will throw the Ceremonial First Pitch prior to the team's fridaynightbash!® game against the Pawtucket Red Sox on Friday, May 19 (7:05 p.m.).

Earlier this year, McDermott was hired as the 22nd head coach in Bills history. He served as the defensive coordinator of the Carolina Panthers from 2011-2016 where he developed a unit that is considered to be one of the best in the NFL. McDermott led the Carolina defense to a top-10 finish in four of his six seasons in charge. The 2017 season will be his 19th in the NFL.

The Bisons' fridaynightbash!® game against Pawtucket begins with the all-new Resurgence Brewing 'Happy Hour,' which features great-tasting 14 oz. craft beers for only $3.00 from 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. The 'Happy Hour' also includes live entertainment and great food specials leading up to McDermott's first pitch. After the game, the Bisons will debut their all-new In-Park Fireworks Experience.

The Buffalo Bisons are scheduled to face Boston Red Sox pitcher DAVID PRICE on Friday night. The southpaw is on a Major League rehab assignment with the PawSox.
