Bisons, RailRiders play to 2-2 tie

Opening Day in Buffalo is one week away

The Buffalo Bisons (5-7-2) and Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders played to a 2-2 tie on Thursday afternoon in Tampa, FL.

The Bisons have just two spring training games left in Dunedin, FL. The teams will then head up to Buffalo with Opening Day at Coca-Cola Field just one week away: Thursday, April 4 (2:05 p.m.) against the Rochester Red Wings.

On Thursday, the Herd got three shutout innings from RHP TYSON BRUMMETT. He allowed just two hits and struck out five batters.

Offensively, INF RYAN GOINS went 1-3 and drove in both Bisons runs. OF LARS ANDERSON went 1-3 with a walk and a run scored.
