With a commitment to providing the absolute best family and sports entertainment value, the Buffalo Bisons today announced that they will once again accept Canadian cash 'at par' at the Coca-Cola Field Box Office, at Pettibones Grille and for ballpark concessions through the month of April.
This marks the fifth consecutive season the team has offered the great baseball fans of Southern Ontario an opportunity to use their money at par to enjoy the Bisons baseball experience. All Bisons initiatives to show their appreciation for fans coming from across the border can be found on Bisons.com and are in cooperation with their great partner, Seneca Buffalo Creek Casino.
"We appreciate and value the great support we've received from Canadian baseball fans over the years and recognize that the currency exchange rate is a hurdle to contend with when they come to Buffalo. Our offer helps to level the playing field and expand on the outstanding value of the Bisons Baseball Experience," said Mike Buczkowski, Vice President/General Manager of the Bisons.
Starting when all single game tickets go on sale on Friday, March 10, Canadian residents can purchase single-game tickets 'at par' when using Canadian cash at the Coca-Cola Field Box Office. This not only includes Opening Day on April 6 and the first 14 home games of the Bisons season, but also the purchase of single-game tickets for future 2017 games (excluding blackout dates of June 3 and July 3), as long as they are purchased at the Coca-Cola Field Box office prior to April 30. Proof of Canadian residency required.
The team is also offering Canadian residents a '15% exchange rate discount' on the purchase of 2017 Bisons Season Tickets as well as 12-game Flex Pack and Pick-a-Pack purchases. Canadian fans must call (716) 843-HERD or visit the Coca-Cola Field Box Office to take advantage of this offer.
Canadian cash 'at par' for Coca-Cola Field concessions and at Pettibones Grille refers to Canadian residents using denominations of $20 or lower. Any purchases made with Canadian credit cards at the concessions stands or in Pettibones will be subject to the exchange rates of the individuals' credit card providers.
All Canadian Cash 'at par' policies exclude the purchase of the Bisons' Gift Cards.
