Family Day Open House set for March 8

A great annual Bisons tradition has returned!

Baseball is near…trust us! And on Saturday, March 8 from 12-3 p.m., we're opening up the doors at Coca-Cola Field for the Bisons annual Family Day Open House.

As always, this event is FREE FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY, and together you can tour the entire ballpark with plenty of fun and excitement for fans of all ages.

As you enter the ballpark, make sure to enjoy a FREE Sahlen's hot dog and a Can of Coca-Cola on us! Kids 12 and under will be encouraged to participate in a Treasure Hunt throughout the entire ballpark to earn a special prize before they leave.

NEW THIS YEAR!!! The adults can join in on the searching fun. We've hidden special silver coins throughout the ballpark for a 'Social Media Scavenger Hunt' with clues given on the Bisons twitter and facebook accounts. Prizes include a ceremonial first pitch, FastBall Cash Cards and Bisons gear.

As you tour the ballpark, make your way downstairs to the Bisons Clubhouse to snap some pictures or to take some swings in our batting cages. We've got Face Painting as well to show your Bisons pride.

Move on upstairs to Pettibones Grille and the Buster's Kids Club table to enter in a Coloring Contest for fun prizes. Be sure to visit the sales table as well where a $5 donation to Coaches vs. Cancer will earn you TWO FREE TICKETS to the Bisons game on Friday, April 4 against the Rochester Red Wings. We'll also be raffling off a pair of Blue Jays tickets as well as great Bisons and Blue Jays merchandise!

Don't forget about the Club Level! The last stop on the treasure hunt, the Press Box will be full of Bisons Memorabilia that fans can check out. Fans can grab an Xbox controller and take virtual swings on the Bisons HD Big Board. Meet the Voice of the Bisons, Ben Wagner, and receive a full tour of the Press Box while you're there! Parents can make a quick stop in our new Blue Jays suite and SLR Contracting Media suite for Samples of Flying Bison beer, Barefoot and Bully Hill wines.

The Bisons Team Shop will also be open and is fully stocked with fitted hats, t-shirts, and jerseys. Swing by the Ticket Office on your way out as Open House will be the first chance to purchase single game tickets for the 2014 season!
