UPDATE Ballpark Brew Bash IS ON

Today's Ballpark Brew Bash IS STILL ON!!!!!. We will still hold the event with all schedule 60 breweries and 160 craft beers present. The ONLY tweak that has been made is vendors scheduled for on the field will be moved to the ballpark's club level concourse. Gates open at 3:30 p.m. and the event will run until 8pm.

On Saturday, September 21 (4-8pm), beer drinkers from throughout Western New York will once again gather at Coca-Cola Field to sample more than 160 craft beers at the 4th Annual Ballpark BrewBash, presented by Consumer's Beverages. In 2013, activity proceeds of this fan-favorite event will benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation of WNY.

This unique event allows craft beer fans to taste some of the most exclusive brews from across the country and the world while touring the ballpark home of the Buffalo Bisons. Over 60 breweries will be featured with special pouring stations including "Consumer's California Corner," "Beers of the World" and "Brewer Breakout Sessions."

Various games and raffles will also be set up throughout the ballpark with game proceeds to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation of WNY. Fans will be able to test their skills at a Target Toss and a Barrel Throw or take a chance to win Beer for a Year in a raffle for Make-A-Wish.

Tickets for the Ballpark BrewBash are $35 when purchased in advance or $40 the day of the event and can be purchased at any one of the 17 area Consumer's Beverages locations, at the Coca-Cola Field Box Office or online at Bisons.com and Tickets.com.

Upon entering the ballpark, fans will receive a commemorative BrewBash mini pilsner cup and coupons for twenty 2-oz. samples. They will also receive a detailed program book that includes a complete description of every beer as well as a complete ballpark map of the event.

There will be over 60 breweries in attendance at the 4th annual Ballpark BrewBash, including 10 local brewers such as Flying Bison, Community Beer Works and Southern Tier. Each brewer will have a pouring station set up somewhere at Coca-Cola Field including on the field, in the main concourse, in the Labatt's Blue Zone or in the Bully Hill Party Deck.

NEW STATIONS: The "Consumer's California Corner" station will be pouring classics from the Golden State including Firestone Walker, Ballast Point, Green Flash, Laguinitas as well as Sierra Nevada and Stone. The "Beers of the World" station will feature brews from over 10 countries, including Poland, Italy, Germany, Belgium, England, Czech Republic, Mexico, Japan and more. Four "Brewer Breakout Sessions" will give fans the opportunity to hear and ask questions of brewers about the beer they tasted.

Several local food favorites will be set up in the Coca-Cola Field Pavilion for purchase, including BW's barbeque, Charlie the butcher, Shalen's, and Wardynski's.
