Blue Rocks Release Game Times for 2017 Season

Six Weekday Day Games and Special Sunday Start Times On Tap for Team's 25th Campaign

Wilmington, DE -- The Wilmington Blue Rocks released their first pitch times for the 2017 campaign on Thursday. The Rocks' 25th season will feature four midweek matinees as well as two holiday afternoon games to mix with Wilmington's usual routine.


The standard starting time for all Monday-through-Thursday games at Frawley Stadium will be 6:35 p.m., minus six exceptions. A pair of School Kids' Specials on Wednesday, April 12 and Wednesday, May 24 will both feature 10:35 a.m. first pitches. The team will start its annual Camp Day game on Wednesday, July 26 at 11:05 a.m. and will throw Delaware's biggest office party on Tuesday, August 15 at 1:05 p.m. Wilmington will also celebrate Memorial Day with a special 12:05 p.m. first pitch on Monday, May 29 and Labor Day with a 1:05 p.m. start on Monday, September 4.

All Friday and Saturday games will begin at 7:05 p.m., while most Sunday games are slated to start at 1:35 p.m. The exceptions on Sunday are May 28 and July 2 which will begin at 6:05 p.m. as well as July 16 and August 6, which will feature 4:05 p.m. first pitches.
