The BlueClaws are closing in on their milestone 7-millionth fan!
LAKEWOOD, NJ - The BlueClaws are the road to 7-million fans, moving to within 50,000 on June 30th.
FANS TO GO: 222 until 7-million (thru July 17th)
The BlueClaws, who debuted in 2001, will become the fastest team in New Jersey and South Atlantic League history to reach the 7-million fan mark. They have led the league in attendance in all 16 years of their existence.
Among the prizes for the 7-millionth fan:
- Season tickets to the 2018 BlueClaws season with their own parking spot
- A BlueClaws team-signed item
- A 7-millionth Fan BlueClaws jersey
- A ceremonial first pitch the day of the milestone
- Waiter/Waitress service the day of the milestone
They entered the season having drawn 6,771,386 fans, within 228,614 fans from 7-million.
12-year old Connor Cino of Toms River was the 6-millionth fan, with the BlueClaws hitting the mark on August 24, 2014. Seven-year old Justin Singer of Freehold became the team's 5-millionth fan on June 15th, 2012. He joined Matthew Currie of Toms River (4-millionth fan, August 24, 2009), Lou Ameika of Lakewood (3-millionth fan, July 16, 2007), Al Spinney of Manahawkin (2-millionth fan, June 22, 2005) and Sean Morales of Jackson (1-millionth fan, April 26, 2003) on the list of milestone BlueClaws fans.
