BlueClaws FanFest '13 on March 2nd

First chance to get individual game tickets, including All-Star Game
February 4, 2013

LAKEWOOD, NJ - FanFest '13, the first day BlueClaws individual game tickets, including those for the 2013 South Atlantic League All-Star Game and Celebrity Hitting Challenge, go on sale to the general public, takes place at FirstEnergy Park on Saturday, March 2nd from 11 am - 4 pm.

The 2013 "ClawStar Spectacular," presented by Kimball and Community Centers, OceanFirst Bank, and Shore Point Distributing Company, includes both the June 17th Celebrity Hitting Challenge and June 18th South Atlantic League All-Star Game. Through March 1st, these tickets are only available to BlueClaws ticket package holders and group leaders, but will go on sale to the general public at FanFest.

Individual game tickets will also go on sale for all 70 BlueClaws regular season home games at FanFest. The season runs from April 4th - September 2nd.

The BlueClaws have already released a series of promotional games, which include a record 17 post-game fireworks shows in 2013. Click here to view the list of released promotions. More will be released soon.

BlueClaws General Manager Brandon Marano, who was promoted to the new role from Assistant General Manager on January 30th, noted that ticket prices will remain the same ($10 adult/$7 junior and senior) as they were in 2012.

"This has been a tough few months for our Jersey Shore community," said Marano. "Keeping ticket prices at our current level, as we have done with our sponsorship packages, was something that we certainly wanted to do. 'Affordable, family fun' is something that we take very seriously and we will always do everything we can to meet that goal."

Among the benefits for reserving tickets at FanFest:

  • Fans will save $1 on each ticket relative to the normal individual game price of $10 (adult) or $7 (junior/senior).
  • Anyone that donates non-perishable food as part of a collection drive will receive a voucher for a free ticket to an April home game.
  • When parents reserve a Kids Zone pass (valid at any of the 70 regular home games), they will receive one free.
  • FanFest also includes ballpark tours and free food, as well as pony rides and other musical entertainment.

In addition, the BlueClaws will be collecting gently used cell phones to benefit Cell Phones for Soldiers. Mental Health Association of Monmouth County will be on site offering support services for those impacted by Hurricane Sandy.

There will be Launch-a-Ball played on the field, with proceeds benefiting BlueClaws Charities. The grand prizes are two pairs of tickets to see Darius Rucker, supported by Rodney Atkins, at Monmouth University on June 20th.

Fans that have booked a BlueClaws ticket package can pick them up at FanFest as well.

Telephone and internet orders will begin at 10 am on Monday, March 4th.

Presently, BlueClaws tickets are available through a ticket package or group outing. For more information, call 732-901-7000 option 3.

The Lakewood BlueClaws are the Jersey Shore's top stop for affordable, family entertainment. They have led the South Atlantic League in attendance in all 12 years of existence.
