The BlueClaws will be wearing special Beatles jerseys on September 2nd modeled after the Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band album cover.
LAKEWOOD, NJ - The BlueClaws will host their first-ever Beatles Night at their game on Saturday, September 2nd, wearing special jerseys modeled after the 1967 album Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. The announcement was made on the 50th anniversary of the album's release.
Britishmania, a top Beatles tribute band, will perform before the game as part of the TD Bank Summer Concert Series. The Britishmania show runs from 5 pm - 7 pm in the Coors Light WRAT Trap.
Plus, Beatles music will be played throughout the game and there will be drink specials throughout the night - such as a Magical Cocktail Tour featuring: Yellow Submarine, Here comes the Sun, and Strawberry Fields drinks, a Beatles Dance Cam, and much more to be announced at a later date.
The special jerseys will be auctioned off via a silent auction on the concourse with proceeds benefiting BlueClaws Charities and their Community Partners.
September 2nd is also the third BlueClaws Extravaganza of Fun. Gates will open at 3:30 pm for the 7:05 pm game and there will be free inflatable rides until 5:30 pm. Additional fun includes a Petting Zoo, food specials, plus face painting and caricatures (additional fee).
