First Wave of 2014 Promotions Announced

LAKEWOOD, NJ - The BlueClaws have unveiled the first wave of their 2014 promotional schedule, marking the earliest point BlueClaws fans have been able to see the promotional nights for the upcoming season.

"Our fans are always anxious to see our promotional schedule and we're very excited to announce the first wave this early," said BlueClaws General Manager Brandon Marano. "We have a great list of promotional nights and we look forward to adding even more as we get closer to Opening Day!"

Several new promotions are on the schedule in 2014. On June 22^nd, the BlueClaws will celebrate What Could Have Been. The BlueClaws will wear special jerseys recognizing what the team could have been named if they weren't the BlueClaws.

2014 marks the 10-year anniversary of the movie Napoleon Dynamite. The BlueClaws will celebrate the movie at their game on July 10^th. There will be numerous references to the movie throughout the game and no fan of the movie will want to miss it! This game falls on a Thirsty Thursday, with dollar beer and soda plus 50-cent wings available in the Coors Light WRAT Trap. 

Plus, the BlueClaws will welcome in "Mountain Man" from the hit tv show Duck Dynasty, WWE legend Jimmy "Mouth of the South" Hart, and former Yankees outfielder Roy White.

The 2014 fireworks schedule had been previously announced. There will be shows following every Friday home game, following the first Saturday home game in June (14^th), July (12^th), and August (9^th), and following the games on July 2^nd and 3^rd.

Entertainers - Phillie Phanatic (June 19^th and August 14^th), ZOOperstars (August 5^th).

Celebrity Appearances - Roy White (autograph signing with former Yankees outfielder, April 22^nd), Yo Gabba Gabba Character (April 27^th), Duck Dynasty's "Mountain Man" (autograph signing, May 8^th), WWE Legend Jimmy "Mouth of the South" Hart (autograph signing, July 13^th).

Theme Days - Phillies Night (details TBA, April 21^st), Bark in the Park (bring your dog, May 17^th), What Could Have Been Day (June 22^nd), Pirate Night (July 1^st), "Napoleon Dynamite" 10-year Anniversary Celebration (July 10^th), BruceClaws Night (Springsteen Appreciation (July 26^th).

All day-of-the-week promotions return in 2014. Kids Eat Free every Sunday and Monday thanks to ShopRite. Seniors Eat Free on Tuesdays. Wednesdays are We Salute You Wednesdays honoring current and retired members of the military. Thursdays are 66MVP Thirsty Thursdays with dollar beer, dollar soda, and 50-cent wings. Finally, Fridays are Fireworks Fridays with post-game fireworks after all 11 Friday home games.
