BlueClaws shortstop Arquimedes Gamboa was named Phillies Minor League Hitter of the Month for August/September after the 19 year old hit .327 over his final 25 games of the season. From August 1st, Gamboa went 32-98 with four home runs, 15 RBIs, and four stolen bases. 
Gamboa finished the season on a 14-game hitting streak over which he went 23-55. His hitting streak was the longest of the season by a BlueClaw. 
At one point, Gamboa had four straight multi-hit games and had seven multi-hit games over the course of the month. He also had a two-home run game on August 21st against Delmarva at FirstEnergy Park. 
Additionally, former BlueClaws José Taveras and Scott Kingery were also recognized. Taveras, a 2016 BlueClaw, was named Pitcher of the Month and Kingery, a 2015 BlueClaw, was named Defender of the Month. Both players finished the season with Triple-A Lehigh Valley. 
BlueClaws LHP Ranger Suárez was named Phillies Minor League Pitcher of the Month for April, while Darick Hall was Hitter of the Month for June and Gamboa was Defender of the Month in July.
