Darick Hall hit a solo home run to account for the only run in Friday's 1-0 win over Rome.
LAKEWOOD, NJ - Darick Hall broke a scoreless tie in the bottom of the sixth inning as the BlueClaws topped Rome 1-0 on Friday night at FirstEnergy Park in the first game of the scheduled double-header on Friday night.
The second game of the double-header was postponed and will be made up in Rome this week.

Hall's home run was his league leading 18th of the season and drove home his league leading 69th run of the season.
Maurico Llovera threw five scoreless innings with a career-high nine strikeouts. Ismael Cabrera (5-5) earned the win with a scoreless sixth inning and Will Hibbs earned his 10th save with a scoreless seventh inning.
The lone run of the game came off Matt Custred (0-2). Rome starter Joey Wentz threw four scoreless innings for the Braves.
Lakewood (9-11/50-41) has now won nine of their last 14 games after a 1-6 start to the second half while Rome falls to 7-11/45-43.
The BlueClaws open a three-game series with Charleston on Saturday night at 7:05 pm. RHP Felix Paulino (2-6) starts the series opener for Lakewood opposite RHP Bryse Wilson (6-4).
