The BlueClaws got two runs in the bottom of the first on back to back two-out RBI doubles from Darick Hall and Henri Lartigue.
Then in the fifth, Carlos Duran's RBI triple put the BlueClaws up 3-0.
Will Hibbs came on and threw two scoreless innings to earn his ninth save. He lowered his ERA to 1.04 after being named to the SAL All-Star Game earlier in the day.
Delmarva starter Lucas Humpal (3-5) gave up three runs over six innings with one walk and two strikeouts but took the loss.
David Martinelli, Raul Rivas, and Carlos Duran each had two hits for Lakewood in the win.
