Bluefield clinches home series over Pulaski

Win makes it three in a row

BLUEFIELD---After a slight scare in the 9th, the Blue Jays were able to beat the Pulaski Yankees 7-4 Thursday. 

When down 2-0 in the bottom of the third, Kalik May smacked his second home run on the year, a three run shot that put the Jays up 3-2. The Blue Jays never surrendered the lead, despite giving up two runs in the top of the 9th.

Jose Espada earned his first professional win and improved to (1-4) on the season. Raynel Espinal was handed the loss and fell to (1-1).

The Blue Jays, now winners of three consecutive, improve to 27-21, and will face the Yankees in the series finale Friday at 7:05.
