All Hot Rods staff members and attendees two years and older must wear a face mask at all times when at the ballpark, except when eating or drinking at their ticketed seats. Face masks must cover the mouth and nose. Fans who don’t comply will not be permitted at Bowling Green Ballpark.
The health and safety of our fans, employees and players is the Bowling Green Hot Rods top priority. We are committed to all necessary actions to ensure that Bowling Green Ballpark meets or exceeds all industry best practices in response to COVID-19.
Before coming to Bowling Green Ballpark, know the symptoms of COVID-19, which can include the following: fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting and diarrhea. If you feel sick, stay home.
Guests are required to practice physical distancing (6 feet apart) inside and outside of Bowling Green Ballpark including the concourse, the Body Shop, restrooms, and front plaza.
All fans entered Bowling Green Ballpark will be subjected to a mandatory temperature screening. Anybody with a temperature of 100.7°F or higher will not be permitted inside Bowling Green Ballpark.
All tickets will be distributed in “pods” of 2-6 seats to support physical distancing between each group of ticketholders attending together, with the expectation that fans will be attending games with family members they have been sheltering with and/or with trusted acquaintances. Any seat not in use will be tied to prevent it from being sat in.
All fans are encouraged to use our digital ticketing option. Have your tickets sent directly to your phone and enter the ballpark through our touchless ticket scanners, which will allow guests to enter the stadium faster and safer.
In addition to our concession stands, mobile food ordering will be introduced in 2021 for fans at Bowling Green Ballpark to avoid lines and to maintain social distancing. Order your food and beverages via FanFood and have your meal delivered directly to your seat. All orders are cashless and must be paid in-app with a credit or debit card.
Hand sanitizer stations will be available at various locations throughout the stadium including all entrances, concourses, and restrooms for staff and guest use. Staff and guests are encouraged to wash their hands and use hand sanitizer frequently.
Enhanced daily cleaning procedures include frequent wipe downs of high-touch areas such as countertops, railings, doorknobs, and elevators, nightly disinfection of all interior areas, and frequent trash removal. Use of EPA-certified cleaning products with reduced dwell times. Restrooms cleaned multiple times throughout each game.
Per Major League Baseball rules, there will be a 12-foot buffer between the field and seats in areas where players commonly are (dugout, bullpen, on-deck circle) to help protect fans from players and vice versa. Due to this buffer zone, player autographs will be prohibited.
