Bowling Green, KY- The Bowling Green Hot Rods are excited to announce the promotion of Kyle Wolz, who takes over as the team’s Assistant General Manager, and Holli Hawkins, who assumes the role of Creative Services Director.

Kyle Wolz, 30, becomes the Hot Rods’ AGM after overseeing the sales team and many other facets of the club as the Director of Sales. Wolz has been with the Hot Rods for over seven years and started as an intern during the 2014 season, having also served as an Account Executive and Box Office Manager.

On top of his responsibilities with the Hot Rods, Kyle is also a very active member within the South Central Kentucky Community. He is an active board member of the Stuff the Bus foundation, a local non-profit working to collect and distribute school supplies and funds to children and teachers in South Central Kentucky. Kyle is also the Vice President of the Jr. Board for the Buddy House and Down Syndrome of South Central Kentucky to help promote awareness and resources offered in SOKY for those with Down Syndrome. Fans have likely seen and interacted with Kyle at the ballpark on game day in various roles or floating on the tarp in his signature flamingo.

“I am excited to take on this new position with the Hot Rods! We have the best staff in Minor League Baseball, and we look to continue to build new experiences and relationships within the Bowling Green community. I would like to thank (Hot Rods Owner) Jack Blackstock and Eric C. Leach for the opportunity and Matt Ingram for preparing me to this point.”

Wolz, a Western Kentucky University Alumnus, is originally from Louisville, KY but now makes his home in Bowling Green. He’s an avid golfer and Titans fan, but above all else loves Hot Rods baseball. He takes over for former AGM Matt Ingram, who is pursuing other opportunities.

“Kyle has continued to display an incredible amount of energy and dedication to the Hot Rods and everything he does inside and outside of the ballpark,” Hot Rods COO and GM Eric C. Leach said. “It has been great to see him rise through the ranks from his internship with us all the way to Assistant General Manager. It’s a testament to how we do things here and to his inner drive for success.”

Holli Hawkins, 26, will be the team’s new Director of Creative Services and will oversee all creative projects for the Hot Rods. A California native, Hawkins joined the Hot Rods in 2019 as the team’s Social Media Coordinator and Promotions Assistant before earning a promotion to Social Media and Marketing Manager. Holli also manages all social media and marketing for the team, Vette City Catering, Bourbon & Brewfest, and assists Turbo with his Twitter account. Hawkins is a 2018 graduate of California State University, Fullerton.

The entire Hot Rods team is continuing to work in preparation for the 2021 season, though there is no schedule available at this time. For more information on the Hot Rods, visit www.BGhotrods.com
