BOWLING GREEN, KY - The Hot Rods continue to stay white hot, as they took down the Captains for their 13th win in a row. Bowling Green did not allow an earned run in its 4-1 win.
This time the Captains scored first as CF Todd Isaacs worked a leadoff walk in the third inning, and scored thanks to an error to make the score 1-0 Lake County. This was the only run the Captains got as after they did not have a runner even reach third.

He advanced to third on a 1B Devin Davis single, and scored when RF Emilio Gustave hit into a fielder's choice to short that allowed Chester to score to give the Hot Rods a 2-1 lead.
LHP Josh Fleming got the start for the Hot Rods, and pitched six innings only allowed three hits and just the one unearned run. He walked three and struck out seven. The Hot Rods got some insurance runs in the seventh and eighth thanks to a couple wild pitches that scored Haley  in the seventh and 2B Zach Rutherford in the eighth.
RHP Jhonleider Salinas pitched two scoreless innings out of the pen, and RHP Phoenix Sanders recorded the final three outs of the game as he picked up his third save of the year and secured the 4-1 win for the Hot Rods.
