Baur Earns Player of the Week Honors

Bradenton, Fla. - Albert Baur was named the Florida State League's Player of the Week for the week of May 21-27 after he hit .370 (10-27) with four home runs, 10 runs batted in, eight runs scored, two doubles and his first triple of the 2018 season. Baur, drafted in the 28th round of the 2015 draft, leads the Marauders in the three major batting categories with an overall batting average of .338, eight home runs, and 33 RBI. Baur was especially dynamic in the series from May 21-23 against Fort Myers in which he homered in each of the three games while also collecting multiple hits in each contest.
The Marauders are currently in Daytona taking on the FSL North Division leading Tortugas. The team returns home to LECOM Park for the first week of June for a seven-game home stand. Bradenton hosts Charlotte on Friday, June 1 at 6:30 p.m. with gates opening at 5:30 p.m.
The LECOM Park box office hours are Tuesday-Friday non-gamedays from 11:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. On gamedays the box office will be open on weekdays from 11:00 a.m. until the end of the game and on Saturdays from 3:30 until the end of the game. The box office will open two hours prior to Sunday games and 10:30 a.m. games.
