FORT MYERS, Fla. - In the third and final game of a three game set from Fort Myers, the Marauders were able to set down the Miracle in ten innings from City of Palms Park by a 7-6 tally. With the Florida High School State Championships being held at Hammond Stadium, the two teams shifted the series finale to the former Spring Training home of the Boston Red Sox and current home of Florida Southwestern College.

Eduardo Vera became the first Marauder's pitcher on the season to make it through eight innings of work, as the righty allowed three runs on eight hits and struck out three Miracle batters without allowing a walk on just 81 pitches in a no decision.

Albert Baur continued his torrid pace with his third home run in as many games on a solo shot in the sixth inning after his first triple of the year in the fourth inning. Baur finished the afternoon with two runs batted in to extend his team lead to 29 and scored a pair of runs in the victory as well. Hunter Owen tagged his third homer of the year to lead off the seventh inning on a monstrous shot over the left field wall.

After Matt Eckelman blew his first save of the season in six tries by allowing a pair of runs in to tie the game in the bottom of the ninth, the Marauders scored a pair in response in the visitor's half of the tenth when Adrian Valerio doubled home Jared Oliva and scored on a base knock by Alfredo Reyes. Ronny Agustin came in and allowed a single unearned run on two flyouts and a groundout to finish the game and earn his fourth save of the 2018 season.

The Marauders welcome in division leading Jupiter to LECOM Park for a four game weekend series with a battle of southpaws in Game One, with LHP Cam Vieaux tossing for the Marauders and LHP Daniel Castano throwing for the visitors.
