FORT MYERS, Fla. - In an 11:00 am start on the third Education Day game for the Marauders on the 2018 season, the early start resulted in a walk-off winner for the Fort Myers Miracle. The Marauders loss pushed them to 3-2 on the season against Fort Myers, and marked the third win for opponents in the final at bat on the campaign thus far.

Both sides traded runs in the second inning, with Albert Baur leading off the visitor's half of the frame with his sixth home run of the season and his second in as many at bats after ending his night last night with a solo shot as well. Baur was matched in the bottom of the inning by Jaylin Davis, who led off the home half with a double off the wall in right center field, and was worked around the bases on a sacrifice bunt and sacrifice fly respectively to tie the game at a run apiece.

After Fort Myers scored another run in the seventh, the Marauders entered their final at bat trailing by a 2-1 tally. Baur drew a one out walk and was pinch-run for by Alfredo Reyes who came around to score on a Bligh Madris triple down the right field line. Bligh extended his team lead in the triples department with four so far on the season. Lewin Diaz proved to be the hero in the home half of the ninth, driving in Jared Foster from second base on a base hit to right field, and the Miracle came out winners on Tuesday afternoon.

The Marauders finish the three game series Wednesday at noon from City of Palms Park in Fort Myers due to the Florida High School State Championships being held at Hammond Stadium. RHP Eduardo Vera will start for Bradenton on the mound and will be opposed by LHP Charlie Barnes in the series finale.
