BRADENTON, Fla. - On 1980's Night at LECOM Park, the Bradenton Marauders fell for the third consecutive game to the Fort Myers Miracle on Saturday. The Miracle finished with eight runs on fourteen hits, their sixth straight game with twelve or more hits with the second half of that streak coming against the Marauders. Mike Wallace was able to last 5.1 innings, but gave up 10 total hits with five runs allowed to go along with a trio of both strikeouts and walks. Wallace (3-3) took his third loss of the season, while his ERA rose from 4.93 to 5.13.

Bradenton started the scoring in the top of the first inning with a Jared Oliva leadoff single, the first of his three base knocks on the day. The Marauders leader in stolen bases added to his tally and was brought in on a Mitchell Tolman sacrifice fly, his fifth run batted in with limited at bats on the season. The only other offense for the home side came on Casey Hughston's second home run of the season in the second, a line drive that cleared the wall in right field with Bligh Madris on first after a single. From that point on, Bradenton spread out six hits over the final seven innings of the contest off Fort Myers starter Griffin Jax, who got his first win of the season after being granted a World Class Athlete release from active duty in the United States Air Force.

Fort Myers struck for four runs in the top of the third, a single run in the fifth, two more runs in the seventh, and another tally in the eighth inning. The past three games have featured 32 total runs for the visitors on 52 hits, with a combined margin of defeat for the Marauders of -22.

The Marauders finish their four game series to open up the second half of the season against Fort Myers before an off day Monday, with first pitch on Sunday scheduled for 1:00 pm. LHP Oddy Nunez gets the ball for Bradenton and RHP Andro Cutura is scheduled for the visitors.
