BRADENTON, Fla. - In the third game of a four game series between the Lakeland Flying Tigers and the Bradenton Marauders, eleven runs for the visitors in the middle three innings were too much to overcome as the Marauders were handed their biggest loss of the season. Oddy Nunez took his seventh loss of the season in the defeat after firing 4.2 innings on 94 pitches that included eight runs on six hits with five walks included on the ledger. Tigers #3 prospect Matt Manning earned his second win in as many tries after the righty worked through five innings and allowed a pair of runs of four hits with five strikeouts
.
Bradenton got on the board almost immediately in the first inning after the visitors plated their first tally when Adrian Valerio hit the second pitch of the inning over the left field fence for his fourth jack of the year. The next time Bradenton would score would be the home half of the fifth when Valerio once again factored in to the scoring. After the shortstop doubled with an out, Arden Past clubbed his second triple of the year to make the score at that point 8-2. The final offense came in the every next inning when Brett Pope was walked and driven around on a Casey Hughston double for the outfielder's twelfth run batted in in the season.

In the victory, Lakeland scored in every inning but three and struck large in their half of the sixth for six runs on our hits including two home runs in the frame. Both Danny Pinero and Zac Shephard were also walked four times each, earning a combined eight of the team's nine walks. The only Marauders pitcher to not be charged a run was Blake Cederlind, who tossed 2.1 innings while only allowing a single hit.

The Marauders finish up their four game set with Lakeland on Thursday night with a matchup of RHP Luis Escobar and RHP Anthony Castro scheduled to begin at 6:30 at LECOM Park.
