BRADENTON, Fla. - In the penultimate game between the Bradenton Marauders and the Florida Fire Frogs at LECOM Park, the visitors plated three runs over the final three innings to walk away with their first win against the Marauders on the year. With the series now 2-1 in favor of Bradenton, the loss moved their overall record to 30-23 on the year.

Major League rehabber Jung Ho Kang blasted his third home run in five games with the Marauders in the fourth inning on Wednesday night, a towering shot that cleared the visitor's bullpen in left field for the first offense of the game. Alfredo Reyes drove in the only other run in the game for the home side in the fifth inning, bringing Casey Hughston in from second base after the right fielder singled to lead off the inning. It would be the final attack for Bradenton.

After Adam Oller started his first game of the year with five full innings of two hit, no run ball with a pair of strikeouts, a pair of Bradenton relievers allowed all the Fire Frog runs for the evening. Florida started their offensive attack with two runs including a Ray-Patrick Didder solo home run, his third of the year. Fire Frogs first baseman Braxton Davidson led off the top of the ninth with a double off the wall in right center and was lifted for a pinch runner, who was scored on a Shean Michel single. Bradenton was unable to match in the bottom of the ninth, and they enter the final game of the four game series trailing both Palm Beach and Jupiter, who are tied for the division lead, by three games.

The Marauders finish their four game series with the Fire Frogs Thursday night, with RHP James Marvel pitching for Bradenton and RHP Ian Anderson for the visitors, with first pitch scheduled for 6:30 at LECOM Park.
