PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. - In the final game of a three game series on the road, the Bradenton Marauders extended their losing streak to the Charlotte Stone Crabs to three contests in a row as the home side completed a sweep Wednesday night at Charlotte Sports Park.

After the Marauders were blanked by LHP Brendan McKay in a 4-0 loss on Tuesday night, the two-way sensation struck early in Wednesday's contest with his first triple of the season in the home half of the first, eventually being brought around to score on a Robbie Tenerowicz sacrifice fly. The RBI flyout was immediately followed by a solo home run to right-center field off the bat of Tristan Gray to top of a two run first for the Stone Crabs. Bradenton Struck back quickly in their half of the second inning when Mitchell Tolman and Jason Delay traded back to back leadoff doubles to put the visitors on the board for the first time in the series since the inaugural frame of the very first contest.

Neither side would plate a run again until Charlotte struck for a single tally in the bottom of the fourth inning. Once again, Tristan Gray factored in to the scoring as the third baseman walked to lead off the inning and was eventually driven in on a Jake Fraley sacrifice fly to make the score 3-1 and cap off the scoring for the Florida State League South Division leading Stone Crabs. Bradenton's only other offense waited until the top of the seventh frame when Adrian Valerio and Bligh Madris traded hits to make it a one run game in the late innings.

The Marauders head back to Bradenton for a four game home set against the Tampa Tarpons beginning on Thursday night, with RHP Evan Piechota looking for his first victory with the club on the hill; first pitch in game one is scheduled for 6:30 pm.
