Florez earned his second win of the year with a career-best performance, allowing four hits and no runs as he tied his career-high of six innings while also tying his career-high with seven strikeouts.
Snider extended his hitting streak to 12 games as he finished 3-for-5 with a stolen base, two RBI and two runs scored to lead the Pirates at the plate. Bissonette and Shackelford both finished 2-for-5 with a double, with Bissonette recording one RBI and two runs scored while Shackelford also hit a triple and had two RBI and one run scored. Wilson tied for the game-high with two runs scored while going 1-for-2 at the plate with a double, a walk and an RBI.
The Pirates (30-29) remain 1/2 a game behind Johnson City in the Appalachian League West Division, and they now have a 1 1/2 game lead over the third-place Kingsport Mets.
