KEY PLAYS

  • Hudson Valley struck for three early runs in the bottom of the first inning, jumping on Brooklyn starter Junior Santos. Cooper Bowman, Trey Sweeney, and Everson Pereira started the frame with three-consecutive doubles and all came around to score to make it 3-0 after one inning.
  • Brooklyn answered Hudson Valley’s big first frame with a pair of runs, scoring on Jose Peroza’s two-out, two-run triple down the right field line to make it 3-2. However, the Renegades pushed across another run in the bottom of the second, scoring on Everson Pereira’s RBI single.
