One of the ballpark's signature nights is back! Star Wars Night Episode XVI is Saturday, May 31, presented by First Student, as the Herd takes on the Charlotte Knights with a 6:05 p.m. first pitch from Sahlen Field (Gates SPECIAL TIME 4:30 p.m.).
This night is a must-attend for both baseball and Star Wars fans of all ages! Even before the Bisons take the field, fans rush to Sahlen Field to enjoy Fan Costumer Appearances throughout the ballpark's concourse as soon as ballpark gates open... including our FULL-SIZED JABBA THE HUTT!! We'll also have commemorative Laser Sword available for purchase, with proceeds to benefit Compass House, while the Bisons players will wear the all-new custom-made Ahsoka Star Wars Jerseys as they face the Knights that will be autographed by the players. Jersey Auction/Raffle information is to be announced!
Of course, the night doesn't end until a thrilling Postgame Show that includes one of the largest Fireworks Shows of the season!
2025 Jersey Design - Ahsoka Jerseys!
This year's Star Wars Night Custom jersey for the Bisons players to wear is the Ahsoka Tano Jersey! She’s come a long way from being nicknamed “Snips” by Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker and now finally gets her Bisons jersey. One of the most popular female characters beginning from The Clone Wars Cartoon Series to appearances on The Mandalorian and The Book of Bobba Fett and finally her own series “Ahsoka.” Ahsoka is one of the most popular female characters of the Star Wars Franchise and the Bisons will show off her stripped lekku and of course her patent double light sabers on the back.
Wearing Costumes
We love to see fans get into the spirit of Star Wars night by wearing their favorite t-shirts, hoodies, past jerseys, etc. But please note, ONLY official Lucas Films certified Fan Costumers are allowed to be in full costume.
Fans of all ages with full masks or props guns will not be allowed into Sahlen Field. Plastic laser swords and lightsabers will be allowed in.
Compass House is a not-for-profit agency offering safe shelter and services for runaway and homeless youth in Western New York. Founded in 1972, they have a decades-long track record of advocacy in WNY and remain the only shelter and resource center for both male and female runaway and homeless youth ages 12-24 in Erie County.
