Herd returns home to Sahlen Field starting Tuesday

The Bisons return home for a short three-game series, May 28-30, and are scheduled to face one of the biggest names in professional sports. 

On Tuesday, the Herd will welcome the Syracuse Mets to town, which also means the Sahlen Field debut of outfielder, Tim Tebow .


Tebow has been with the Mets Triple-A affiliate all season long and played in all four games when the Bisons made their first trip to Syracuse, NY last month! Now, fans in WNY and Southern Ontario can see the former NFL quarterback turned baseball prospect for the first time at Sahlen Field!

The Bisons homestand lasts just three days before the team hits the road again, so don't miss out as this Thruway Cup rivalry takes a new twist with the new-look Syracuse Mets and outfielder Tim Tebow. 

Tuesday, May 28 | 6:05 p.m.

  • -The first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive a Vladimir Guerrero Poster Giveaway (Gates 5pm.)
  • -Buy-One, Get-One tickets with any NOCO receipt (at the Box Office)


Wednesday, May 29 | 6:05 p.m.

  • -In honor of the date (5-29), the first 2,000 fans in attendance will receive a NY's 529 College Savings Program Drawstring Bag (Gates 5pm). 


Thursday, May 30 | 10:35 a.m.

  • -Bisons annual School Kids Day Game with morning first pitch, presented by NY's 529 College Savings Program and Alfred State College.
