The Durham Bulls have announced their 2017 television schedule, in which 54 home games will be televised over the air. Me-TV will televise the team's contests.
Beginning May 12, all remaining Durham Bulls home games for the 2017 season will be televised locally over-the-air on Me-TV Channel 50.2 on WRAZ. All telecasts will again be produced by Explorer Post 50, a youth-based program now in its 19th season, which provides students ages 14-20 with an opportunity to gain firsthand experience in the field of television broadcasting. New for the 2017 season, all broadcasts will be broadcast in full 16 x 9 ratio.
Also returning in 2017 is a live stream of the videoboard embedded within the Blue Monster at Durham Bulls Athletic Park. Viewable at durhambulls.com, the videoboard stream will provide a second screen experience for broadcast viewers who have the ability to see statistical information, player headshots, between-inning entertainment and live crowd video.
