Bulls Announce Expanded Television Schedule

52 Home Games, Triple-A Home Run Derby Will Be Televised Across the Carolinas on Time Warner Cable SportsChannel
May 1, 2014

The Governors' Cup Champion Durham Bulls have announced their 2014 television schedule, highlighted by a move to the new Time Warner Cable SportsChannel, which reaches viewers throughout North and South Carolina. Time Warner Cable SportsChannel will televise 52 Bulls home games in 2014, all in high definition, making them available across the Carolinas for the first time ever. Time Warner Cable SportsChannel will also carry the Triple-A Home Run Derby on July 14. MLB Network will broadcast the 2014 Triple-A All-Star Game live from Durham Bulls Athletic Park two nights later on July 16.

Television broadcasts begin this weekend, May 2 - 4, continue the weekend of May 16 - 18, and then cover all remaining home games beginning May 30. Fans can catch the HD action on Time Warner Cable SportsChannel 323 and also over-the-air on Me-TV channel 50.2. All telecasts will again be produced by Explorer Post 50, a youth based program that provides students ages 14-20 with an opportunity to gain firsthand experience in the field of television broadcasting.

To augment the viewing experience, the Bulls are also introducing a live stream of the large videoboard embedded within the Blue Monster at Durham Bulls Athletic Park. Viewable within the Bulls' official "Inside the Park" mobile app and here at durhambulls.com, the videoboard stream will provide a second screen experience for broadcast viewers who will now be able to see statistical information, player headshots, between-innings entertainment and live crowd video.

"We are thrilled Durham Bulls baseball will now be seen throughout the Carolinas on Time Warner Cable SportsChannel," said Bulls General Manager Mike Birling. "Not only will viewers enjoy a full HD broadcast, but they can get the same information fans at the game get thanks to our live videoboard stream."

Time Warner Cable SportsChannel is a 24/7 network that carries distinct regional programming on different channel locations across the nation. It is the Carolinas' home for comprehensive local sports content and can be found in HD on channel 323 across the state exclusively to Time Warner Cable customers.
