Fireworks Shows, Touch A Truck Coming to DBAP

$1 Concessions, Day Game also on tap for week-long homestand

The Durham Bulls open a seven-game homestand against the Norfolk Tides and Charlotte Knights on Monday, June 19. The Durham Bulls open a seven-game homestand against the Norfolk Tides and Charlotte Knights on Monday, June 19. A day game, $1 Concessions, two fireworks shows and a Touch A Truck event highlight the promotional schedule.

PURCHASE TICKETS TO THE HOMESTAND HERE

The homestand opens on Monday, June 19 at 7:05 p.m. against the Norfolk Tides, before the two teams battle once more on Tuesday, June 20 at 7:05 p.m. On Wednesday, June 21 the Bulls take on the Tides in their lone 1:05 p.m. game of the 2017 season, with that afternoon's contest presented by MIX 101.5.
The series against the Baltimore Orioles' top affiliate comes to a close on Thursday, June 22 at 7:05 p.m. That night's contest is presented by Alex's Lemonade Stand, and a portion of all lemonade sales during the game will go to Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation. Additionally, Thursday's game features $1 Concessions as Bright Leaf hot dogs, soda and popcorn are just a buck all evening long. Additionally, Thursday night is Swim Night, as local swimming organizations will be able to take part in a pregame parade on the field.
The homestand continues on Friday, June 23 against the Charlotte Knights, with that night's 7:05 p.m. contest presented by EmergeOrtho. Following the game will be a Friday Night Fireworks show presented by bioMerieux.
On Saturday, June 24 the Bulls and Knights battle at 6:35 p.m., with the game presented by GKN Driveline. Immediately after the contest will be a Saturday Night Fireworks display presented by JT's Landscaping, and Saturday is also Camp Out Night, as local scout troops will sleep under the stars in the DBAP outfield.
The series against the Chicago White Sox top affiliate wraps on Sunday, June 25 with a 5:05 p.m. first pitch. Preceding that evening's contest will be a free Touch A Truck event on Blackwell St., as the Bulls will host an interactive event for children of all ages. Following the game, children get to show off their speed with Kids Run the Bases presented by Nature's Twist.
