The International League Champion Durham Bulls have placed tickets for Opening Day on sale. The 2014 season opener will be a rebirth of the historic franchise, as the newly renovated Durham Bulls Athletic Park opens its doors for the first time after a $20 million upgrade on Thursday, April 3.
One fan who purchases Opening Day tickets during the online presale here at durhambulls.com will win the opportunity to be the first person to enter on April 3, getting a VIP tour of the DBAP for his or her party and a personalized version of the Bulls redesigned home jersey.
"Opening Day is always special, but this season is just so much bigger," said General Manager Mike Birling. "We look forward to joining a packed house in witnessing the rebirth of the Durham Bulls."
The Opening Day online presale event will run from Monday, February 24 through Saturday, March 1 when tickets for all other regular season games go on sale. On March 1, fans can purchase tickets in person at the DBAP box office or over the phone at 919.956.BULL from 10:00am to 2:00pm.
