After the first few weeks of play, former B-Royals are finding success on the field. Nicky Lopez and Bubba Starling are off to hot starts in Omaha. Lopez (In Burlington in 2016), has an On-Base plus Slugging (OPS) of .852, and is hitting .306 with two home runs in his first 15 games. Starling (2012) has five stolen bases and 2 home runs while hitting .358. Another Omaha Storm Chaser who is off to a hot start is Andres Machado (2013 & 2014). Machado in six appearances from the bullpen has given up two runs in 13.1 innings pitched with 13 strikeouts.
In Northwest Arkansas, Andres Sotillet (2017), has an ERA below one (0.50) after 15 innings pitched. His only run given up was a solo home run. His WHIP is 0.73 and has struck out 8 batters. Outfielder, Anderson Miller (2015), has 12 hits in 12 games with 5 stolen bases. He is hitting .308 with 13 total bases.
The Former B-Royals in Wilmington are raking. Seuly Matias (2017) has four home runs and 13 RBIs in 18 games played. Meanwhile, Sebastian Rivero (2017) is hitting .273 with a home run and 8 RBIs. The pitchers in Wilmington are playing well. Daniel Tillo (2018), had a complete game shutout and Tad Ratliff, has given up one run in 7 innings, with 5 saves.
Michael Gigliotti (2017) with the Lexington Legends, is hitting .276 with an on base percentage (OBP) of .389. He has 9 stolen bases with out being caught in his first 15 games back from injury. Nick Hutchins (2017) is also hitting well in Lexington. He has a slash line of .343/.361/.571 and has eight doubles in 9 games this season.
