Burlington, NC - Five runs proved to be just enough for the Bluefield Blue Jays (41-26) as they downed the Burlington Royals (25-42) in a 5-4 nail-biter.Bluefield scored four of their five runs in the fourth inning and added an insurance run in the sixth.The Royals responded with three runs

Burlington, NC - Five runs proved to be just enough for the Bluefield Blue Jays (41-26) as they downed the Burlington Royals (25-42) in a 5-4 nail-biter.
Bluefield scored four of their five runs in the fourth inning and added an insurance run in the sixth.
The Royals responded with three runs of their own in the bottom of the sixth on RBIs from Eric Cole, Freddy Fermin, and Brhet Bewley.
Burlington had the tying run on base in the bottom of the ninth inning but Brad Wilson got Colby Schultz to line out to end the game.
The Royals will play the final game of their regular season on Wednesday night at 7:00 p.m. against Bluefield in Burlington.
The Burlington Royals are the Appalachian League affiliate of the Kansas City Royals.
